It's a Hemingway Memorial Homecoming Weekend, August 8th and 9th.
Start calling, texting and emailing your entire family, former members, friends and more for this fun-filled and spiritual time.
Saturday, August 8th we are hosting the BBQ & Fish Fry on Hemingway Memorial's Campus. Bring your lawn chair and positive vibes from 12-3pm. We do need you register to make sure we have an accurate head count. Register before the deadline of July 31st. (Use the button below).
Come back on Sunday, August 9th for the 10am Worship Experience. What to expect: Praise, Worship, Prayer, the Word and Fellowship.

Presiding Elder
Rev. Dr. Dederick O. Rivers
Hemingway Memorial is pleased to welcome our new Presiding Elder, Rev. Dr. Dederick O. Rivers over the Capital District. He was appointed during the 76th Session of the Washington Annual Conference of the 2nd Episcopal District leaving his role as the Pastor of Ward Memorial AME in Washington, DC. He is the youngest person to be appointed to this position as he succeeds our former Presiding Elder, Rev. Charles T. Sembly. Let's us stay in continued prayer for Capital District and the 2nd Episcopal District as a whole. Read More
