The Liberation Jail & Prison Ministry (LJPM) visits the Prince George's County Men's Shelter every 2nd Tuesday of the month. Not only do they provide dinner but they have engaging conversation while breaking bread together.

The cost to do this every month is $250.00 which averages out to $10.00/person at the shelter.

We are not asking any one individual to give the full amount. Any amount would be appreciated. Sponsor a dinner as an individual, ministry, organization or team. Send us the monetary donation and the LJPM will do the rest.

Give online using the platform of your choice or send in a check, made payable to Hemingway Memorial AME. Whether you give online or by check, please add LJPM in the memo section.

  • Check the box underneath that says, "make this a monthly donation"
  • You will see a message confirming you authorize the amount each month.
  • Once you click "Donate" thru PayPal or donation with a credit or debit card, you will see a final confirmation message that the transaction is complete.

  • Specify if it is for tithes, offering or something else
  • On the summary page, select "Make this recurring"
  • You then decide how frequent the gift should be sent: daily, weekly, bi-weekly, twice a month (on the 1st and 16th) or monthly.
  • You are done once you click "Give Now". You will see the confirmation page regarding your transaction.

In hard times, tithing motivates you to remember God’s faithfulness, and it enables you to demonstrate trust in God to provide for all of your needs. As you sow the first 10% of your gross income, you set your course to honor God in the way you handle the rest of your finances.
